Flood Information for the Cedar River Watershed

 

King County Information

For automated river level alerts, sign up here. You will need to decide at what flood stage you want to be alerted, and how you want to be notified (phone, text message, email, etc.). The readings below are in cubic feet per second (cfs) at the gage below Landsburg Dam:          

  • Cedar Stage I           1000 cfs
  • Cedar Stage II          2800 cfs
  • Cedar Stage IIII        3500 cfs
  • Cedar Stage IV         4200 cfs   Extreme Flooding    

*People in lower lying areas will probably want to set alerts for Stage 2.

The "below Landsburg" gage will tell you what is happening just below the dam.  It's about a mile below Landsburg Park, east of Maple Valley.
